Full Bio:
ash angel is a Filipina-Singaporean singer/songwriter, producer, audio engineer, and sound healer based in Vancouver. Creating a blend of contemporary r&b and alternative indie with an ethereal charm, her dreamy vocal production is soulful with heartfelt lyrics based on personal experiences. Inspired by the likes of Raveena and Jhené Aiko, she offers listeners an oasis of calm soundscapes to feel a sense of serenity. “I create music to provide healing for those who resonate deeply and find solace in my art,” says Angel.
Immersing herself in the intimate process of music creation, she gained knowledge of production through the Music Technology program at Douglas College (New Westminster, BC) and now curates her sound through co-producing alongside musical peers. She has also co-written unreleased music with other artists, blending truths with imagined moments to craft songs that feel both intimate and expansive. Her latest co-release with Vancouver based artist Glisha “Not So Shy" is a dreamy, UK Garage-inspired track about the sting of being replaced that showcases her versatility in songwriting and willingness to explore beyond her usual ethereal style. โ

Presenting her music to live audiences, she has graced the stage of multiple Canadian events.
